Driver cited after Woodside pedestrian died from crash injuries

QNS reported that Neri struck her head on the pavement after the impact. Police from the 108th Precinct found her in the roadway, and EMS took her to Elmhurst Hospital.

Neri died after her condition worsened
QNS reported that medics initially transported Neri with non-critical injuries. Her condition worsened, and police said she was pronounced dead on Aug. 10, 12 days after the crash. The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad was investigating, according to QNS.
