According to the police report, a 24-year-old motorcyclist riding east on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway hit the rear of an eastbound dump truck. Police recorded unsafe speed by the rider. He was ejected, suffered head and crush injuries, and was killed. The crash occurred on a 50 mph roadway, and the other driver was in a dump truck.
