Motorcyclist killed in Edenwald collision with BMW driver
A 22-year-old man driving a white BMW and 27-year-old Miguel Malcolm riding north on Monticello Avenue collided at Strang Avenue in Edenwald on Nov. 9, 2024, and Malcolm died at Jacobi Hospital, according to police and the city crash record.

Police identified the man who died as Miguel Malcolm, 27, of Mount Vernon. News 12 reported that people at a growing memorial near the scene said Malcolm loved riding motorcycles, worked as a car mechanic, and was the father of a 3-year-old daughter.
Police said the 22-year-old BMW driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
