The man died at Lincoln Hospital

The Daily News reported that medics took the man to Lincoln Hospital, where he died from massive injuries to his head and chest. News 12 reported head and body injuries and said he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Neighbors described people sleeping on the block

A worker in the area, identified by the Daily News as Omar, said of the driver, "The guy was in not so good condition." The Daily News also quoted a resident who said people sleeping on the street were common on that Hunts Point block.
