A 25-year-old moped driver died at Myrtle and Bedford avenues in Brooklyn at 4:40 a.m., and News 12 reported surveillance video showed the rider thrown from a gas-powered scooter before a second driver hit him.

The rider died at Kings County Hospital

Emergency crews took the scooter rider to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he died. News 12 reported that police had not released his name pending family notification.

Police said both sedan drivers stayed at the scene and were not injured. News 12 reported that no arrests had been made and that NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad was investigating.
